“Shilbottle CC have resigned from the Alnwick and District Cricket League with immediate effect as the club could no longer field a full team as only 6/7 players were prepared to commit themselves to playing after meeting last night (14th May). All games against Shilbottle are now cancelled.
We are looking into the viability of amending the fixtures to ensure that every team has a game each remaining Saturday and you will be informed with immediate effect of any decision taken to sort out this unfortunate mess.”
