An outstanding performance by Kev Wilson and Bobby Dodds with the bat on Saturday enabled Rock to finally make it out the doldrums of the bottom end of the table. A 1st wicket stand of 181 whilst chasing down the 214 runs Mitford posted, ensured we took 19 points from the game putting us in 7th position, easily the highest we’ve managed this year!
Kev ended up on 94 not out, whilst Bobby fished at a wide one and was caught on 77. Whilst the bowling/fielding performances weren’t up to the same calibre as the batting, Chris Johnson claimed 4/46 in another fine spell.
